By Elections 2024 in Pakistan

By-elections will be held across the country on Sunday, April 21.

Elections were scheduled for 23 constituencies.

However, the results of two of these seats, one provincial and one national, have been announced.

Both national and provincial belonged to Sindh,

Elections are going to be held in National Assembly Constituency NA-8, Bajaur.

Independent candidate Rehan Zeib was killed a few days before the elections in the concerned constituency.His son Mubarak Zeb is contesting for this seat as an independent candidate. A tough competition is expected in NA-8 Bajaur constituency of the National Assembly. Rehan Zeib’s son Mubarak Zeib is in the field as an independent. While Gul Zafar Khan of the Sunni Ittehad Council will enter the electoral fray.

A thorny contest is expected in National Assembly Constituency NA-44 from Dera Ismail Khan.Engineer Zia-ur-Rehman is in the field on behalf of JUIF.While Faisal Amin Gandapur on behalf of the Sunni Ittehad Council will enter the election Dangal.This seat was left by Ali Amin Gandapur after becoming the Chief Minister.Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s son and Ali Amin Gandapur’s brother are competing on this seat.

A tough competition is also expected in National Assembly Constituency NA 119 Lahore.This seat fell vacant after Maryam Nawaz became the Chief Minister.Ali Parvaiz Malik is in the field on behalf of the PML-N on this seat.While Mian Shahzad Farooq will contest the elections on behalf of Sunni Ittehad Council.

By-elections also held on National Assembly seat NA-132 from Kasur.The Kasur seat was vacated by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.Sardar Hussain Dogar is in the field on behalf of Sunni Ittehad Council.While Malik Rasheed Ahmed Khan is in the field on behalf of PML-N.

By-elections in National Assembly Constituency NA 196 Kambar Shahdad Kot,This seat was vacated by Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto.The grip of the PPP candidate on this seat is strong.Khurshid Ahmed Junejo is in the field on behalf of PPP.

A total of 50 candidates will contest in the by-elections on five seats of the National Assembly.

By-elections are to be held on two seats of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.

A total of 23 candidates are contesting on two seats.

By-election in KP 22 Bajaur 4 constituency of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.Abid Khan is in the field on behalf of Jamaat-e-Islami.While Gul Dad Khan of the Sunni Ittehad Council will enter the electoral fray.

By-elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Constituency PK 91 Kohat 2, Elections postponed due to death of ANP leader from PK 91 Kohat Snni Ittehad Council candidate Dawood Afridi is a strong candidate for this seat.

12 candidates are contesting elections on two seats of Balochistan Assembly.

By-elections in Balochistan Assembly Constituency PB 20 Khuzdar 2,12 candidates submitted their nomination papers. Sardar Akhtar Mengal had left the seat of PB-20 Khuzdari. Mir Jahanzeb Mengal of BNP is a strong candidate.

By-elections are also to be held in PB-22 Lasbela. Zareen Khan Magsi is a strong candidate from BAP

A total of 154 candidates will contest on 12 seats of Punjab Assembly.

By-elections are to be held in Punjab Assembly Constituency PP-22 from Chakwal. Falak Sher Awan is in the field on behalf of the PML-N.While Hakeem Nisar Ahmed is in the field on behalf of the Sunni Unity Council.

By-elections in Punjab Assembly Constituency PP 32 from Gujarat. Chaudhry Parvez Elahi Maidan on behalf of the Sunni Ittehad Council.On the other hand, Musa Elahi will descend in Dangal.

By-elections also in Punjab Assembly Constituency PP 36 from Wazirabad. The league fielded Adnan Afzal Chatta, Fayaz Chatta will contest the sixth election on behalf of the Sunni Ittehad Council

By-elections in Punjab Assembly Constituency PP-54 from Narowal. Owais Qasim is in the field on behalf of the Sunni Ittehad Council.While Ahmed Iqbal on behalf of PML-N will enter the election contest.

Also by-elections in Punjab Assembly Constituency PP 93 from Bakhar.On behalf of PML-N, Saeed Akbar Noorani is in the field.On the other hand, Sikandar Ahmed Khan will be contesting the elections on behalf of Sunni Ittehad Council.

By-elections also in Punjab Assembly Constituency PP 139 from Sheikhupora.Rana Afzal Hussain is in the field on behalf of the PML-N.While Ejaz Bhatti is in the field on behalf of Sunni Ittehad Council.

By-elections in Punjab Assembly Constituency PP 147 from Lahore. Malik Riaz is in the field on behalf of the PML-N.While Muhammad Khan Madani of the Sunni Ittehad Council is part of the election.

By-elections in Punjab Assembly Constituency PP 149 from Lahore. Shoaib Siddiqui of IPP is in the field. While Hafiz Zeeshan of the Sunni Ittehad Council will enter the electoral fray.

By-elections in Punjab Assembly Constituency PP 158 from Lahore.Monis Elahi is a strong candidate of the Sunni Unity Council.

By-elections also in Punjab Assembly Constituency PP 164 from Lahore.Rana Rashid Minhas is in the field on behalf of PML-N.While Yusuf Mayo is part of the electoral scandal on behalf of the Sunni Ittehad Council.

By-elections in Punjab Assembly Constituency PP 266 from Rahim Yar Khan.On behalf of the PML-N, Sardar Safdar Laghari is in the field.While Samiullah Jat of Sunni Ittehad Council will enter the field.

By-elections also in Punjab Assembly Constituency PP 290 from Dera Ghazi Khan.Sardar Yusuf Laghari is in the field on behalf of the PML-N.
