US Imposed Sanctions on Pakistan’s Ballistic Missile

America imposed indirect sanctions on Pakistan

The United States has imposed sanctions on four international companies for supporting Pakistan’s ballistic missile program.

In a statement issued by the US State Department on Saturday, it is said that the US has announced the imposition of sanctions on one Belarusian and three Chinese companies for supporting the production and delivery of Pakistan’s missile program.

These three companies are given below

1) General Technology Limited,

2) Beijing Luo Luo Technology Development Co Ltd,

3) Changzhou Utek Composite Company Ltd

According to the statement,  These entities have supplied missile‐applicable items to Pakistan’s ballistic missile program, including its long-range missile program.

US state department mentioned in the statement the purpose of these restrictions is not to punish but to bring about a positive change in behavior.

A response is awaited from the Foreign Office on the indirect ban on Pakistan’s ballistic missiles, while there has been no response from Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, but the Pakistani authorities are still silent on this matter. It is possible that Pakistan has been informed about the whole situation due to which the government has no problem, so it is possible that all this has happened with the consent of the government, but it is also worth noting here that the US has given Israel permission to use weapons in Gaza, G7 countries are supplying arms, will any restrictions be imposed on them, if not, it is an open contradiction.
